Print the sheet. Trust what you see.

Two target sheets carry all 256 RGB recipes with no proof transform applied. Print them on your FLEXPRINT, then compare each FPT number with its estimate in the palette.

  1. Select 600 DPI in the printer/controller. Image DPI metadata alone does not select printer mode. Use your usual baseline ink and zero adjustments.
  2. Print both PNGs at 100% / actual size through the normal RGB controller path. Disable fit-to-page, stretching and borderless enlargement.
  3. Preserve the source RGB values. Disable proof conversion and additional color correction. Don’t apply either proof profile, convert to CMYK, or recompress the images.
  4. Measure the scale bar. Printed tick centers must be exactly 1 inch apart. Read patches left to right, then top to bottom; FPT001 is the top-left patch of sheet 1.

Comparison charts and estimated colors are viewing references. Don’t print them as test targets. Approve important work on the intended food product.
